Description
This F-150 is a solid old truck that has stood the test of time. While it hasn't been fully restored, the body presents well for a truck of this vintage. There is corrosion in the undercarriage, particularly in the floor pan, but as classic 4x4s go, it remains a great candidate for someone looking for a solid project or a functional driver. The interior is functional and usable as-is, but it has its share of wear and tear. The black and brown color combination gives it a classic feel, and the silver door panel inserts add a bit of contrast. Notable flaws include the lack of carpet, some chipped paint on the door panels, and damage on the driver's side of the bench seat. The 351 Windsor V8 runs strong, and the 4-speed manual transmission makes this truck engaging and fun to drive. Power steering and power front disc brakes make handling and stopping manageable, even for those unaccustomed to vintage trucks. It’s a good runner that’s ready to be driven and enjoyed as-is should the next owner choose.
